Sharing the Gospel Across North America
Third Baptist Church has a long history of supporting and participating in missions throughout North America.
From Montana to Newfoundland, from Cincinnati to Houston, our church has sought to faithfully answer the call to proclaim the gospel, strengthen churches, and support ministries across the continent.
Through long-term partnerships, mission trips, church planting support, and local outreach, we desire to participate in the work God is doing throughout North America for the glory of Christ and the advancement of the gospel.
MEXICO MISSIONS PARTNERSHIP
Primera Iglesia Bautista — Chiapas, Mexico
Third Baptist Church partners with Primera Iglesia Bautista in the community of Dr. Rodulfo Figueroa in Chiapas, Mexico, near the Guatemala border.
For many years, members of 3BC have traveled to serve alongside this church through medical and construction mission teams. Each January, teams from Third Baptist Church continue this partnership by supporting ministry efforts and encouraging the local church body.
This partnership began through Pastor Olivio Vasques, who lived in Murfreesboro and became a follower of Christ while attending Third Baptist Church. After returning home to Mexico, he desired to establish a Baptist church in his community and helped start Primera Iglesia Bautista.
We are grateful for this long-standing relationship and the opportunity to continue serving together for the advancement of the gospel.
VERMONT CHURCH PLANT PARTNERSHIP
Redeemer Church — St. Albans, Vermont
Third Baptist Church also partners with Redeemer Church in St. Albans, Vermont.
Redeemer Church is a church plant connected with the SEND Network of the North American Mission Board (NAMB), seeking to faithfully proclaim the gospel and establish a healthy local church in northern Vermont.
Michael Badger serves as pastor of Redeemer Church alongside his wife, Kayla. We are grateful for the opportunity to encourage and support their ministry through prayer, partnership, and ongoing connection.
