At Third Baptist Church, our children’s ministry exists to help children become lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ.

We believe children are not only the future of the church, but an important part of the church today. Our desire is to partner with families by providing a safe, loving, and Bible-centered environment where children can learn God’s Word, grow in faith, and build meaningful relationships.

Every ministry environment is designed to point children to Christ through clear biblical teaching, worship, discipleship, and gospel-centered care.

Making Lifelong Disciples

The mission of 3BC Kids is to help children know God through His Word and grow in faithful obedience to Christ.

Our goal is that every child would:

  • Understand the gospel clearly
  • Grow in biblical truth
  • Learn to love God and others
  • Develop Christ-centered friendships
  • Become grounded in the life of the church

We desire to equip and encourage parents as they lead and disciple their children at home.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Worship & Life Groups for Children

Life Groups — 8:45am

Children gather in age-specific Life Groups where they study Scripture and build friendships in a smaller group setting.

Worship Service — 10:00am

Kindergarteners through third graders are dismissed to Kids Worship just before the sermon begins. This time is devoted to helping children understand the meaning and importance of each part of the corporate worship gathering so they can participate more fully as they mature.

Nursery and preschool care are available during Sunday gatherings.

MIDWEEK MINISTRY

MidWeek for Kids

Our Wednesday MidWeek ministry provides additional opportunities for children to grow through:

  • Bible teaching
  • Scripture memory
  • Worship
  • Fellowship
  • Discipleship activities

Our volunteers and ministry leaders are carefully selected and equipped to serve children and families with care and integrity.
