The College & Young Adults ministry at Third Baptist Church exists to help young adults become grounded in God’s Word and connected to the life of the local church.
Whether you are attending MTSU, beginning your career, starting a family, or navigating a new season of life, our desire is to provide biblical community, discipleship, and encouragement centered on Christ.
In a rapidly growing city like Murfreesboro, we believe young adults need strong biblical foundations and meaningful Christian relationships more than ever.

Our ministry is focused on helping young adults:
- Grow in their understanding of Scripture

We desire to help young adults not only attend church, but become rooted in the life and mission of the church body.

A Church Home While You’re at MTSU
Murfreesboro is home to many college students attending Middle Tennessee State University and other schools throughout the area.
Our desire is to provide a church family where students can:
- Study God’s Word faithfully
- Build lasting relationships
- Grow through discipleship
- Serve in ministry
- Remain grounded in biblical truth during an important season of life

LIFE GROUPS & DISCIPLESHIP
Community Centered on God’s Word
College students and young adults are encouraged to participate in Life Groups and discipleship relationships that provide opportunities for:
- Bible study
- fellowship
- prayer
- accountability
- encouragement
- spiritual growth

MIDWEEK GATHERINGS
Worship & Fellowship Throughout the Week
In addition to Sunday gatherings, MidWeek provides opportunities for worship, teaching, and connection throughout the week.
Wednesday Schedule
- Prayer Gathering — 6:00pm
- MidWeek — 6:30pm
