At Third Baptist Church, our ministries are designed to help individuals and families grow in their faith and stay connected to the life of the church.
From children to senior adults, each ministry is centered on Scripture, discipleship, and authentic Christian community. Our desire is to help people know Christ, grow in spiritual maturity, and serve faithfully within the church and throughout Murfreesboro and Rutherford County.
Whether you are new to Third Baptist Church or have been part of the church family for years, there are opportunities for every age and season of life to grow in God’s Word and connect with others.
LIFE GROUPS
Growing Together in Biblical Community
Life Groups are a central part of church life at Third Baptist Church. These groups provide opportunities to study Scripture, build relationships, pray together, and grow in faith alongside others.

Our children’s ministry helps kids know and love God through the teaching of His Word in a safe, engaging, and gospel-centered environment.
Students & Youth
Discipling Middle & High School Students
Our student ministry exists to help students grow in their faith, understand God’s Word, and build Christ-centered relationships through teaching, discipleship, worship, and fellowship.
COLLEGE & YOUNG ADULTS
Building Foundations for Life & Faith
We seek to help college students and young adults become grounded in Scripture, connected to the church, and equipped to follow Christ faithfully in every area of life.
SENIOR ADULTS
Fellowship, Encouragement, & Growth
Our senior adult ministry provides opportunities for fellowship, encouragement, discipleship, and continued growth in God’s Word while remaining connected to the life and mission of the church.
MISSIONS & OUTREACH
Serving Murfreesboro & Beyond
We are committed to making disciples locally in Murfreesboro and throughout Rutherford County while also supporting gospel ministry around the world through missions, prayer, giving, and outreach.
