Third Baptist Church - 3BC Ark Preschool

Registration is on a first-come, first served basis. Prospective students may begin registering February 27, 2024 and continue until all spots are filled. A waiting list is started when classrooms are filled. Students need to be one year old by August 15, 2024 in order to enroll.

ARK preschool provides a biblically-based education that helps children develop through age-appropriate activities.

Our mission is to assist children and their families in laying the foundations for knowing God, knowing His Word, and knowing how to live by providing a Christ-centered education that is committed to excellence. This is a beginning step toward 3BC's goal to produce MATURE believers who advance God's Kingdom, by His power, for His glory.

We believe each child should have the opportunity to develop emotionally, socially, physically, and mentally to their fullest potential. We encourage each child to experience the joys of learning and growing. Our purpose is to provide activities that meet the developmental needs of each child and provide a Christian atmosphere for group interaction. We believe each child is special, and we prayerfully respect the trust each family is placing in our hands.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to provide opportunities that encourage physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and mental growth. We begin teaching this with our 1 year-olds and continue building on and enhancing the learning as we progress to our pre-K class. Our day includes circle time, fine motor learning, music, Bible story, centers learning, large motor play and rest time. Teachers submit lesson plans to the director in order to be highly prepared for each class.

Other activities included in the learning at 3BC ARK is a weekly chapel lead by 3BC's children's pastor, library time, special Christmas programs, and a pre-K graduation at the end of the year.

All play activity takes place on our playground or gym.

Classes

At 3BC ARK, we offer the following classes:

Marvelous Monkeys - age 1 by August 15.

We have a maximum of 8 students in this class.

Growing Giraffes - age 2 by August 15.

We have a maximum of 10 students in this class.

Laughing Lions - age 3 by August 15.

We have a maximum of 12 students in this class.

Eager Elephants - age 4 by August 15.

We have a maximum of 14 students in this class.

Food & Rest

We provide one snack in the morning. Parents will provide a sack lunch & drink. Rest time begins after lunch for our 1's & 2's (around 12:15 pm) and around 1:15 pm for our 3's and pre-K classes. Although students are not required to sleep, they are expected to rest quietly during nap time and stay on their mat. Around 1:45 pm, students are able to read and do quiet table activities until parents arrive for dismissal.

Fees

Tuition is *$170/month, *$50 registration fee (non-refundable - only required upon child’s confirmed enrollment), and a *$50 supply fee (due in August and non-refundable after Open House). A sibling discount is offered, too.
