This course will encourage readers to examine and enjoy the Christ-saturated world of C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia, viewing the books as powerful stories designed to shape the hearts and minds of readers. The goal will be to heed the words of Aslan: “This was the very reason you were brought into Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you might know me better there.”
A basic saying of the Christian life is “become who you are”. Because we have been brought to life in Christ, we can live new and distinctive lives through the power of God’s grace. “Become who you are” actually captures the theme of Ephesians; Paul wove it into the very fabric of the book. As you engage in this study of Ephesians, prepare to be challenged with this question: “How can I become in daily life who I am already in Christ?”
Countless times we’ve heard the phrase – “read the Bible!” Often, though, many of us are not sure where to start, or, we start strong only to find ourselves burned out in a few short weeks. This course aims to walk through the basics of reading and studying the Bible, offering both how-to and encouragement on the topic of Bible-intake.
