LIFE Groups - Sundays at 8:00AM or 10:45AM

Our 1st - 6th grade LIFE Groups use LifeWay's G-Force curriculum. G-Force combines bible study, worship, and personal application through the use of music, interactive games, large and small group activities and much more. G-Force provides not only a fun and entertaining way to present Bible stories and worship, but it also provides a solid biblical experience with a great amount of creativity. The kids are having a great time experiencing God full blast!

Kids' Worship - Sundays at 9:15AM

Worship is what we were put on this earth to do! Our 1st – 3rd graders begin in our corporate worship meeting, worshiping with their family. During the fellowship time, 1st – 3rd graders are dismissed to their very own age-appropriate worship meeting. In Kids' Worship, our team of capable adults guide children in leading and participating in their very own worship meeting that is modeled after 3BC's corporate worship meeting.

Corporate Worship - Sundays at 9:15AM

The body of Christ is made up of all believers, including children. It is for this reason that children from 4th – 6th grade participate in our corporate worship gathering. We count it a privilege and responsibility in training the next generation to worship God. We recognize that biblically parents are the primary spiritual teachers of their children. Our corporate worship meeting affords parents the opportunity to model and teach their child to worship the one true God.

Children's Bible Drill - Sundays at 4:00PM

Children's Bible Drill for 4th- 6th Graders teaches children basic Bible skills. Each year the children memorize 25 Bible verses and learn where to locate 10 key passages. In addition, they learn how to name all 66 books of the Bible. Children's Bible Drillers pass through three levels of participation: Church Drill, Association Drill, and State Drill. Children gain skills and knowledge through Bible Drill that will last a lifetime!

Trail Mix - Sundays at 5:00PM when Discovery U is in session

Trail Mix is 3BC's discipleship ministry for 1st - 6th graders.  Children learn a series of questions and answers that teach them foundational bible doctrine.  Concepts include God, man, and sin, the Ten  Commandments, salvation, prayer, and the church.  Children come out of Trail Mix knowing what they believe and how to defend it!

Kidz Praise! – Sundays at 6:00PM when Discovery U is in session

In Kidz Praise, 1st – 6th graders learn about worshiping God through song. Kids who participate in Kidz Praise have the privilege of periodically participating in worship with the 3BC Worship Team during corporate worship on Sunday mornings. This December, they presented the Christmas Musical Christmas CrossTalk.

Discovery Kids - Wednesdays at 6:00PM during the school year

Discovery Kids is all about teaching kids deep spiritual truth in a way that they can understand. 1st and 2nd graders are learning that the God reveals himself to us through His word and that the Bible should be valued more than any other book. 3rd and 4th graders are doing a study on following Jesus on how they as Christians become more like Jesus. 5th and 6th graders are studying modern heroes of the faith and how to develop godly habits in their daily lives. Discovery Kids trains kids to have a serious faith!

Kids On Mission - Wednesdays at 6:00PM during the summer

Kids on Mission is our summer Wednesday night program for entering Kindergarteners through 6th grade. Children learn about mission work that is being done in the United States as well as abroad. Missionaries serve as guest speakers sharing about their work in sharing the truth of Jesus Christ. Kids On Mission highlights Third Baptist Church members who have served on the mission field in various capacities as well. Children learn to be on mission themselves by participating in several missions projects.

Baptism Class

We strive to keep the gospel central in all we do in Children's Ministry at 3BC. Our chief desire is to see children respond to the gospel call in faith and put their trust in Christ for salvation, so we rejoice when a young believer desires to be baptized. We recognize that biblically parents are the primary spiritual teachers of their children. It is for this reason that our Baptism Class is not so much a formal class, but a series of conversations between the child and parents. Our baptism process is as follows:

1. Parents meet with the Minister to Preschool and Children to receive materials and clarify expectations of the Baptism Class.
2. Parents work through the Baptism Class material with their child. This process takes two weeks to one month to complete.
3. Minister to Preschool and Children meets with the child one-on-one for a final interview and to schedule their baptism.

New Christian's Class

The New Christians class is offered to children who have made a profession of faith and been baptized. This class is held twice yearly on Sunday evenings during Discovery U. This class focuses on discipling new believers. Topics include the gospel, salvation, the ordinances, the church, spiritual disciplines, and evangelism.
