VBS 2012 – June 4-8

VBS @ 3BC! VBS 2012 is cleared for takeoff! We will see lives changed as kids tour the wonders of God’s creation and explore His awesome power! VBS will be held June 4-8 from 9am – 12noon. Our VBS includes an Open House on Wednesday, June 6. VBS is a free event! You can register as a learner or a volunteer!

Parent/Child Dedication: May 13

Our Parent/Child Dedication takes place during our corporate worship gathering. This year’s Dedication is scheduled for May 13. It is a time where parents publicly recognize their responsibility to raise their children in the training and instruction of the Lord, and in turn, the church acknowledges its responsibility to come along side parents in fulfilling that task. Parents wishing to participate in the Parent/Child Dedication are required to attend a one-hour seminar. The seminar will be held on Wednesday, May 2 at 6pm in Room 212E. Childcare is available. Vacation Bible School (VBS)

VBS is HUGE at 3BC!

Nothing brings people out more than top-notch bible studies, creative crafts, thrilling missions stories, rocking music, heart-racing recreation, and of course, our zany skits written and performed by our pastoral staff! All these elements fall within the framework of our over-arching purpose for VBS , and that is proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ!

VBS takes place every year during the first week in June - 2012 dates will be June 4 – June 8. VBS is held Monday through Friday from 9am – 12pm. In addition to the Monday through Friday regular schedule, we hold an open house on Wednesday evening (June 6, 2012) and a pool party on the Sunday evening following VBS (June 10, 2012).

Fun Fellowships

We work hard and play hard at 3BC! Most of our gatherings have a serious, spiritual purpose, but sometimes we get together for nothing more than pure unadulterated fun! And, by the way, fun has a spiritual purpose as well! We have met up at our local alley for a rousing game of bowling. We have taken over the indoor pool at Patterson Park to swim while snow sits on the ground outside. We have even bounced off the walls at Bounce U. We like to have fun, and we are good at it!
