We will continue talking through the Book of Acts at this Secret Church.  We will begin at Acts 9 as we see Paul meet Jesus on the Damascus Road.  As always, we will begin reading and talking through Acts with no agenda or goal but to spend time with Jesus and one another.  We will be also spend some time praying for the persecuted Church.
We will begin at 7:00PM and plan on ending at midnight…however, the midnight hour is fluid as the night progresses.

We will have coffee, water, and light snacks.  Bring your Bible.

Power. Power to change. Power to start anew. Everyone is looking for power. Political campaigns point to the power of people. Advertising agencies exploit the power of appetite.

But Churches have something different and better. Something seemingly implausible. Something that comes in a demonstration of the Spirit and of power. Churches have the Gospel.

Though we live in the world, we must not wage war as the world does, or fight with its weapons. On the contrary, we have divine power to demolish strongholds. To redeem sinners. To create life. To transform and remake the universe. Talk about power.

Witness the underestimated Gospel.

Each week we have community groups that meet around town.  The purpose of community groups is relationship building within the context of prayer and Bible Study.  At this time our groups are gender-based. The community groups will not begin until the 2012 Spring Semester has begun. Check back for more details or talk to Duane Geib, College Pastor.

Wednesdays

Meet with us every Wednesday as we spend time together exalting the Father in musical worship and allowing Him to transform our lives through the study of God’s Word…fellowship with one another around coffee, tea, and desserts…and discuss the spiritual truths of what we learned during the proclamation of the Bible.

This semester we will be discussing worship and what God wants in our worship gatherings.  We will spend one week on “A Theology of Sex” and then we will be walking through the book of Colossians.
