VBS is HUGE at 3BC!

Nothing brings people out more than top-notch bible studies, creative crafts, thrilling missions stories, rocking music, heart-racing recreation, and of course, our zany skits! All these elements fall within the framework of our over-arching purpose for VBS , and that is proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ!

VBS takes place every year during the first week in June - 2012 dates will be June 4 – June 8. VBS is held Monday through Friday from 9am – 12pm. In addition to the Monday through Friday regular schedule, we hold an open house on Wednesday evening (June 6, 2012).

VBS is a free event!

The theme for VBS 2012 will be ”Amazing Wonders Aviation”!

The theme verse will be Psalm 147: 5.

Fun Fellowships

We work hard and play hard at 3BC! Most of our gatherings have a serious, spiritual purpose, but sometimes we get together for nothing more than pure unadulterated fun! And, by the way, fun has a spiritual purpose as well! We have met up at our local alley for a rousing game of bowling. We have taken over the indoor pool at Patterson Park to swim while snow sits on the ground outside. We have even bounced off the walls at Bounce U. We like to have fun, and we are good at it! Centri-Kid Camp

Centri-Kid is a five day, four night camp for 3^rd – 5^th graders to experience the time of their lives and learn more about the message of Jesus Christ! From the future sports star to the young scientist to the rising chef, every kid gets to participate in exciting activities of their choice. Kids get to take part in Bible study, recreation, track times, and worship. Learn more about Centri-Kid at www.centrikid.com. Centri-Kid 2012 will be at Shocco Springs Conference Center in Talladega, Alabama.

I ART the Boro – 2012

Family Mission Trip take 2:

We tell our 3BC kids over and over that God calls all of us to be missionaries wherever we are. Most of the time we fulfill that calling right where we are, but sometimes God calls us to go out. We want to provide families the opportunity to “go out” together. This past summer, 3BC families hosted “I ART the ‘Boro” where we held three creative arts events for the community.

In, 2012 we will hole three more community events. The details are still being finalized but rest assured you will want to be invloved! The date for the 2012 “I ART the Boro” will be June 24 -27. Mark your calendars and check back for more information closer to event dates.
